"Nascere in una valle ha delle conseguenze: la fame di sole, per iniziare.
Per andare a prendertelo devi salire sentieri, mettere le mani sulla roccia. Se poi lo fai con una camera in mano, le cose rimangono e puoi interpretarle a modo tuo. È iniziata così; dalla passione per la fatica ed il mestiere, il passo verso le prime spedizioni in Himalaya ed all’Isola di Baffin non è poi stato così lungo. Dall'amicizia con gli atleti sono nate collaborazioni con importanti brand dell'outdoor che mi hanno portato sia a progetti sportivi che campagne commerciali esplorando anche ambienti più corporate. Ecco come sono diventato fotografo e filmmaker: passione e amore per la fatica" |
"Being born in a valley has consequences: a hunger for sunshine, for starters.
To get it, you have to climb trails and put your hands on the rock. If you do it with a camera in your hand, things remain and you can interpret them in your own way. That's how it started; from a passion for hard work and craftsmanship, the step towards the first expeditions to the Himalayas and Baffin Island was not so long. My friendship with athletes led to collaborations with major outdoor brands, which in turn led to sports projects and commercial campaigns, exploring more corporate environments. That's how I became a photographer and filmmaker: through passion and a love of hard work" |
